I'm planning a destination wedding in Maui. What is the most beautiful beach?
I'm loving the Hyatt Regency in Kaanapali, Wailea Beach Marriott Resort, Four Seasons Maui at Wailea and the Grand Wailea. I would consider my guests and what to eat and something to work around, but in the final analysis, fair, and not necessarily more expensive. Any help would be great! We planned for July 2009. Aloha!
Hello Rose, All the beaches of Maui are beautiful. Each has its unique qualities. The Wailea area is more intimate and refined. There are large stretches of beach here, but the luxury reigns supreme. Kaanapali Beach is approximately 45 minutes from Wailea. Your guests will have more restaurants and activities if you are near / on Kaanapali Beach. My favorite is the Maui Sharaton. The property is located on famous Kaanapali Beach. Has the black lava rock wall on the other side of the property that people dive off during the night lighting ceremony torch resorts. Very nice. Great snorkeling, beautiful park and swimming pools. Staff work well with wedding groups. It is certainly not a convention hotel, then more or a feeling of true Hawaiian. I'm going to many weddings.
